Cometic multi layer steel head gaskets £120

Modern diesel engines typically run a static compression ratio of from 15 up to 22:1, then they are pressurised even further by the turbo. They use multi layer steel head gaskets as standard and do hundreds of thousands of miles with no problem. This is one of the reasons I use nothing but Cometic MLS, there just isn’t anything out there which is as good.

We stock these in the following sizes so you can set your squish clearance correctly on a new build:

  • 0.76mm
  • 1.67mm out of stock
  • 1mm
  • 1.295mm out of stock
  • 1.52mm

Spesso uprated multi-layer steel exhaust gasket; £65
16v Trojan valve guides £350 for 16

The best material available for valve guides. A closer fit than off-the-shelf guides, more hard wearing and handle the heat better.
